Polaris has been supporting Blackfriars Settlement’s Positive Ageing group since 2019 and on 6th April 2023, we returned to host a joint Easter Special kitchen takeover along with one of our technology partners, CGI.
Our team of volunteers worked hard to prepare and serve delicious food, and the members of the charity enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of entertainment.
6 Polaris members and 2 CGI members prepared and served up mains of cottage pie and salmon with mashed potato and mixed vegetables, followed by fruit salad, apple crumble and custard for dessert.

“The team got lots of positive feedback from the members, and it was great to see everyone enjoying themselves”.
After the meal, Steve held a quiz with a mix of general knowledge and Easter-themed questions on entertainment, geography, food and drink, and more.
“I hosted the afternoon quiz entertainment which was a hit. Winners received boxes of chocolates which were warmly received. As always, it’s great to be back at Blackfriars giving back to a cause whose members appreciate our involvement”.
Our continued collaboration with Blackfriars aims to make a positive impact on the community, close to where we work, and support those who need it the most.

Please refrain from discussing personal matters, abusing any company or product, or, in general, from posting in a manner unrelated to ProductWriter.
7.1.2. Keep it courteous
Please refrain from posting anything unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, harassing, politically sensitive, threatening, harmful, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable or injurious to third parties[SW1] .

Polaris retains the right, at its sole discretion, to limit users’ access to the Community Hub and to remove material that, in Polaris’s sole judgment, does not comply with the current Community Usage Guidelines, or that is otherwise inappropriate, harmful, objectionable, or inaccurate. Moderators may take any action they deem necessary in their own judgment to support the Community Usage Guidelines, and, in general, prohibit content that can detract from the experience of other users or the purpose of the support community.
