Polaris and CGI Team completes 10-mile London walk/run charity challenge

On 4th September, a team of 11 from Polaris, alongside 7 from CGI, took on a 10-mile charity walk/run challenge to raise funds for one of our charity partners, the Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT). The participants took a specially planned route through the heart of London, and the funds will help SCT in their mission to help people affected by homelessness and addiction transform their lives.

Thanks to the incredible effort of all participants and the generosity of our supporters, we raised an incredible amount of £3,465 exceeding our fundraising target.

Our route began at the Tower of London and followed the Thames east to Canary Wharf before looping back. We then crossed Waterloo Bridge, continued along the South Bank, and finished at the Polaris office. The loop offered a memorable journey through some of London’s most iconic landmarks while providing the perfect setting for a meaningful cause.

Despite some early concerns about the weather, conditions cleared up and spirits remained high throughout, and everyone successfully completed the challenge.

We are proud of everyone who took part and grateful to all who donated. Your support helps SCT continue its vital work in transforming lives across London.
